FAQ
How do I know which variant to order?
Check where your factory horn is mounted. Cars like the i20, Sonet, Venue, and Exter have a single centered horn, so the center-mount variant is correct. The Seltos has horn provisions on the left and right ends, so it needs the left/right variant.
Do I have to stick with INFAC horns, or can I use other brands?
The INFAC-type connector is the factory standard, but if you’d rather run Bosch, Hella, or Minda horns, the budget harness below is built to accept those too — it isn’t locked to one horn brand.
Is there any wiring modification involved?
None. Both harnesses are designed to plug straight into the factory socket. The original horn relay in the fuse box stays exactly as it is and continues to switch power to the circuit — the harness just changes how many horns sit on the output side.
I’ve heard adding horns can trip a fuse — is that a real risk?
Only if the horns themselves draw far more current than standard dual-tone units, which is rare for the products covered here. The wiring in these harnesses is sized to the same standard as the factory loom, so a properly matched horn pair won’t push the fuse near its limit.
If I sell the car later, can a service center tell I changed the horn setup?
Unplug the harness and reconnect the original horn, and the setup is back to exactly how it left the factory. Nothing about the installation leaves a permanent mark on the wiring.
